Babily Antiques operates from Bergen County, New Jersey and is the internet branch of the Babily Objets d’Art shop, located in Babylon, Iraq.
The shop which has been in existence since 1933 is a family-owned business that has been passed on from generation to generation. It is now run by Mr. Salah Salman, owner-general manager.
The shop has a large inventory of objects that range from historical valuable statues, vases, religious books, carved art to traditional, handmade carpets.
All of the items belong to the shop and are certified by the Ministry of Culture.
The items listed for sale have no connection with any museums and have been owned by the family for over half a century. The items will come with the certificate of ownership and appraiser’s certification.
